A multiple group-placing Rough-Faced brindle bitch, Phoenix is owned by Mary Hunter of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mary and Phoenix have participated in conformation, obedience, and herding. Phoenix is a very outgoing Pyr Shep, thanks largely to Mary's efforts at early socialization. Phoenix also has a tail (though it would be better were she to carry it a bit lower), and she has outstanding natural ears
Phoenix won High in Trial at the 1999 PSCA National Specialty, and is the mother of three herding-titled Pyr Sheps (sired by CH La Brise Cotton-Tail Rabbit) including: Can CH Phurz Rigolo at Chaparral Can/PSCA CD HIC, the top-winning Pyr Shep in Canada in 1996; and Phurz Sphinx JHD; and ARBA/WWKC CH Phurz Pandemonium HIC, a multiple Best in Show winner.
